Advisory tier
Keep the dashboard, lose the work, retain the relationship
Advisory isn’t a front-door package. It’s the option the I offer when an existing Core or Growth client is about to cancel — instead of losing the relationship entirely, you keep your full dashboard history live for £80/month.
No active work is performed. No posts, no outreach, no optimisation. Just the data, and me — I pick up the phone.
What you keep
Everything you had as a Core/Growth client
- The full live dashboard — every panel, every metric, every piece of accumulated history.
- Rank tracking (organic + local pack) continuing to update for any connected accounts.
- GBP insights continuing to surface (if your GBP access remains connected).
- PPC performance view as read-only data (if Google Ads Manager access remains).
- Reviews across all platforms.
- Backlinks, citations, AI visibility snapshots, content briefs, action log history.
- I’m reachable for questions, with 24-hour response.
What stops
Named before the price, per the plan
The offer explicitly names what stops before it names the price. Here’s what stops on Advisory:
- No posts published on any platform (GBP, Facebook, Instagram).
- No outreach drafted or sent (no backlink acquisitions, no prospect communication).
- No optimisation (no technical SEO fixes, no PPC bidding).
- No monthly review call.
- No audit refresh, no content briefs created.
The data continues to display because the underlying data sources keep running — no manual work is needed just to keep them current.
Why this exists
The retention mechanic, not a discount
Acquiring a new local SEO client typically takes 1-3 months of conversations, audit work, and mutual fit-checking. Losing one in a moment is straightforward. I then have to spend those same 1-3 months of acquisition work to replace them.
Advisory is the alternative path. The client keeps their history, I keep the relationship reachable, and when the budget returns, the re-upgrade is a conversation rather than a fresh acquisition. £80/month isn’t a meaningful revenue line — it covers data hosting, that’s all — but it preserves an option that wouldn’t exist otherwise.
Advisory FAQ
Honest answers
A read-only retention tier for clients who have paused their Core or Growth retainer. For £80/month you keep your full dashboard history visible — rankings, traffic, citations, backlinks, GBP insights, AI visibility, site health — but no active work is performed. The founder remains reachable for questions (24-hour response) but does not proactively edit.
Only existing clients who are moving off Core or Growth. Per the plan, Advisory is not a front-door package and is never marketed as such — it’s offered to clients who are about to cancel, as an alternative to losing the relationship entirely. New prospects cannot apply for Advisory directly.
Because your dashboard history is real. A year of accumulated rank tracking, backlinks, citation work, and GBP insights isn’t replicated anywhere else — switching agencies means starting over. Advisory keeps that history live, gives you a quiet on-ramp back to a full retainer when you’re ready, and costs less than one decent lunch a month.
Read-only access to your full dashboard. Every panel you had as a Core/Growth client remains visible: rankings, local pack, GBP insights, reviews across platforms, citations, backlinks (including any from outreach we did), site health, historical rank baseline, AI visibility, PPC data if Manager account access is retained, traffic estimates, content briefs, action log history. PPC performance continues surfacing as data only if Manager access is retained; the agency doesn’t touch the account.
No posts published on your behalf. No outreach drafted or sent. No optimisation actions. No monthly reviews. No audit refresh. No content briefs created. The dashboard shows what already exists; no new work happens.
It covers the cost of dashboard hosting, my time you can ask for (24-hour response on questions), and the ongoing data refresh from connected accounts. It’s not a "discount" version of a paid tier — it’s the cost of keeping your data live. The number is set deliberately low because the goal isn’t revenue, it’s keeping the relationship reachable.
You don’t apply. We offer it to you when you’re about to cancel a Core or Growth retainer. The offer is made by me directly and includes a written summary of what stops (active posting, optimization, outreach, monthly reviews) before it mentions the price — so the drop to £80 reads as "the service is pausing" rather than "you were overpaying." The Advisory offer is meant to feel like me keeping the door open, not like an upsell.
Yes, anytime. The Advisory tier has no minimum commitment — the only friction to re-upgrade is a conversation with me, confirming the engagement terms. We’ll re-onboard against your existing history so you don’t pay for a clean start.
No. Advisory consumes no delivery capacity because no work is performed — per the plan, “Advisory-tier clients are also excluded from the cap — they consume no delivery capacity, since no work is performed on the account.” So an Advisory client does not affect whether we can take on another Core/Growth client.
Want to talk about it?
Advisory is offered by me directly at cancellation. If you’re a current client thinking about cancelling, send a note and we’ll talk through whether it’s right for your situation.

What you're paying for. My fees cover the work I do — keyword research, on-page fixes, citations, GBP posts, review responses, backlink outreach, content briefs, technical SEO audits, and the live dashboard that surfaces all of it. I write every deliverable myself and review it personally before it goes out. That's the work; that's what you're paying for.
What's outside anyone's control. Search engine rankings, third-party platform decisions (Google's algorithm updates, Meta's reach changes), audience reception, and the time it takes for the work to compound. No honest agency of any size can guarantee a specific rank, traffic number, or revenue outcome — anyone selling you one is selling you snake oil. What I commit to is doing the work to the standard described in each tier, and showing you every step in the dashboard so you can see what's happening (or not).
The non-refundable bit, stated clearly. Because the work begins with immediate effect after request and payment — the audit starts, the credits get consumed, the on-page fixes get pushed, the GBP posts start drafting — once a fee is paid it isn't refundable. There's no cancellation refund on work already done. One-off services (Website Build deposits, GBP Reinstatement, SEO Ranking Recovery) follow the same rule. The recurring tiers are 30-day rolling notice — you don't pay for periods you haven't used, but periods already paid aren't refundable either.
Minimum timeframes for results. Honest answer: 3-6 months of consistent work to see meaningful rank movement on the local pack, longer for competitive national searches. PPC delivers clicks from day one but meaningful performance stabilises over 4-8 weeks. Website builds are 4-8 weeks from kickoff to launch. If you need a specific result by a specific date, ask before you sign — I'll tell you honestly whether it's achievable in your timeframe.
