Social media add-on
Social media that actually sounds like you
Most local businesses don’t need a viral content strategy — they need a consistent, on-brand presence that keeps the business visible between jobs. The kind of social media that shows up reliably, sounds like a real person, and ties back to the actual work you do.
I write your posts, review them personally before anything goes live, and run them from a real content calendar so you’re not guessing what to post on a Wednesday morning. That’s the only way to keep the cadence consistent without the work drifting into something that doesn’t sound like you.
What’s included

Basic graphic design in your brand style — no extra design fees
Reels/stories production from your supplied video clips, or quote for a small on-site shoot
Engagement: comments and DMs triaged weekly, sensitive ones routed to you
Monthly report inside your dashboard — reach, engagement, clicks, follower growth, attributable conversions
Quarterly strategy check-in — what’s working, what isn’t, what to adjust
Optional: TikTok, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn (where they make sense for the business)
How I work
A repeatable cadence, personally written and reviewed
The honest framing of social media for a local business: it should sound like a real person, not a content calendar. The work I do is write every post in your voice, fact-check every claim against what’s actually happening in your business this week, edit for tone, and refuse to ship anything that reads like generic filler.
- Brand voice workshop. A short kickoff call to understand your tone, your audience, and what you’ll never want to see on your feed.
- Content calendar. Monthly outline of themes, campaigns, and recurring post types — you see it before any posts go live.
- Draft → review → schedule. I write → I refine → you get a 24-hour preview window → posts go live.
- Report + adjust. Monthly report ties back to the goals we set, with concrete adjustments for next month.
Pricing
£100–£200 / month
Standard plan lands at the lower end; heavier plans with reels production and multi-platform management land higher. The Growth Tier (SEO + Social bundled at a discount, £350–£1,150/month) is the most cost-effective option if you want both.
Add-on only by design: standalone social-media clients need their own setup; pairing with SEO or a recent build is where the cost-per-result numbers actually work.
Common questions
Social media, honestly answered
Facebook and Instagram as standard, plus Google Business Profile posts (which feed into local SEO and show up in the GBP panel). TikTok is available on request for clients where it makes sense — most local trades aren’t there yet, so the ROI is usually lower.
The standard plan is 3–4 posts per week across Facebook + Instagram, plus 1 GBP post per week. Heavier plans (6–8 posts per week, including stories and reels) are available and bundled into the Growth Tier for clients who want social + SEO together.
Yes — basic graphics in your brand style. For more design-heavy content (reels, video, photography), I either use your existing assets or quote you a small photography session at fair rates. I don’t bill design time at a premium — it’s part of the package.
I write every post myself — that keeps the cadence consistent and the tone unmistakably yours. Every single draft then gets a personal review from me (tone, accuracy, brand voice, current relevance) before it’s scheduled. Nothing goes live unreviewed. You can see the working process in your dashboard.
Yes — the standard workflow is: drafts → my review and refinement → you get a 24-hour pre-schedule preview window in your dashboard → posts go live on schedule unless you’ve paused one. This gives you veto power without slowing down cadence.
Real business metrics, not vanity ones: reach, engagement, clicks, follower growth, and any trackable conversions (link clicks, contact form submissions attributed to the channel). The monthly report ties this back to the goals we set in the kickoff — calls, bookings, foot traffic where possible.
Then you don’t need this. I’d rather tell you that than take your money. Social is an add-on for existing Core or Website Build clients; standalone sign-ups are accepted when there’s a clear case.
Not currently. Facebook and Instagram ads are a different specialism, and the ROI depends heavily on creative quality and offer — I’d rather refer you to a partner who does this full-time than offer you a half-baked version.
