Give EV work its own page
One page about EV charger installation, with photos of chargers you’ve fitted, the brands you install, roughly how long a typical install takes and what affects the price. This is the page that ranks for "EV charger installer" searches. A general services page won’t.
Add it to your Google Business Profile
List EV charger installation as a service. If it’s a big part of your work, consider an EV charging related secondary category. Post photos of recent installs, with the charger and the tidy cable run in shot.
Get on the installer finders
Most charger manufacturers have an approved or recommended installer list. Customers use them, and they’re trusted links back to your site. Check every brand you fit and make sure your details on each match your profile exactly.
Ask for reviews that mention the charger
A review that says "fitted our EV charger, neat job, explained the app" helps the next EV customer decide and tells Google you do this work. When you send the review link, it’s fine to say "it really helps if you mention the charger".
Answer the questions they search
EV customers search questions before they search for installers: whether they need an upgraded consumer unit, how long installation takes, whether they can charge from a drive-less house. Answering those on your EV page, plainly, is how you get found earlier.
Where this fits
EV work is one part of a wider picture for electricians, alongside credentials, rewires and landlord EICRs. The local SEO guide for electricians covers the rest, and the free audit will show you where your profile stands now.
The thing that compounds in local SEO is the boring work of getting the fundamentals right, and keeping them right, month after month.
