Compare SEO packages
Three SEO packages. One of them is probably wrong for you.
I run three SEO packages personally for UK trades and service businesses — Core, Growth, and Website Build. This page lays out what each SEO package actually delivers, what you hand off, and what the £200/mo gap between Core and Growth buys in plain terms. The pricing is the same as the main pricing page; this page exists so you can see the SEO packages side by side before we talk.
Introductory rates for the first 5 paying clients.
If you're comparing SEO packages UK and you're not sure which fits, the right next step is a 20-minute call. I'll look at your actual situation — your area, your trade, your current rankings, your current site — and recommend one. Or tell you honestly if you don't need any of them yet.
The three SEO packages
Core, Growth, and Website Build
Same founder, same dashboard, same reporting. The difference between these SEO packages is what I do each month and what stays with you. Below is what each package actually involves, written in plain language.
Monthly retainer
Core
£297–£347/month
The monthly local SEO retainer. I do the work, you reply to your own reviews with drafts from me.
Who it's for
Trades and service businesses that already have a working website and are happy replying to their own reviews.

Monthly retainer
Growth
£497–£597/month
The full retainer: more posts, reviews handled for you, citation building, and a starter social package to get you visible. The £200/mo delta buys back roughly 4 hours of your time each week.
Who it's for
Businesses that want me handling the whole SEO pipeline, plus a starting social presence — and the option to add full multi-platform social as an upgrade once the foundation is working.
Add-on available: full multi-platform social (Facebook + Instagram + GMB at full cadence) for £100–£200/month. Add it once the Growth foundation is working.

Website Build
£1,500–£5,000 one-off
5–10 pages, SEO-structured from day one. Designed and built by me. Pair it with a 12-month retainer and the build fee drops — see the bundle below.
Who it's for
Businesses starting from scratch or replacing a site that is genuinely costing them customers.

Pair a Website Build with a 12-month retainer
The cheapest way to start. You commit to a year, I drop the build fee.
Website + 12-month retainer
Build alone: £1,500–£5,000
£1,200–£4,200
20% off the build fee
Plus monthly retainer
Core or Growth
12-month commitment locks the bundle in
Why this works for both of us: a discounted build in exchange for a signed 12-month commitment converts lumpy income into predictable income faster than waiting to see if a build client converts to a retainer later. You get a real discount on day one and a working site from day one; I get twelve months where I know I'm building rankings for someone who's actually paying me to do it.

Standalone products available alongside the retainers
The three tiers below are the recurring relationships. These four are separate products you can buy on their own or alongside a retainer — whichever fits the situation.
Monthly add-on
Social Media Add-on
£100–£200/month
Drafted, personally-reviewed posting to Facebook, Instagram, and GMB. Content calendar, engagement tracking. Designed to attach to an existing Core or Growth retainer — voice discovery, content inputs, and baseline measurement already exist.

- Facebook + Instagram + GMB scheduling via a real content calendar
- Engagement tracking — reach, engagement, click-through
- Monthly performance summary in the dashboard
- Add-on only — attaches to an existing Core or Growth retainer
Most often added to Growth once the SEO foundation is working.
One-off

- Appeal/reinstatement submission filed on your behalf
- Verification-document guidance (postcards, video, in-person)
- Reinstatement watch + follow-up if first appeal is rejected

Outcome not guaranteed — Google's systems, not mine, decide reinstatement.
Monthly
Care Plan
£50–£150/month
Managed hosting, core and plugin updates, security monitoring, minor content edits within a defined scope. No SEO work included — this is for keeping an existing site healthy, not for ranking it.

Quoted

What drives the price
Why the bands are bands, not flat numbers
Each tier has a range, not a single number. The figure you actually pay depends on the shape of the work — and the shape varies by client.
Core and Growth retainers
- How competitive your area and trade are — a London plumber and a small-town roofer face very different ranking work for the same fee
- How many service areas you cover — a single-location business is one job, a five-postcode-area business is several
- How many reviews and GBP posts already exist — building from scratch is different work to maintaining an established profile
- Whether you need me to draft content from a blank page or work with material you already have
- For Growth specifically: whether you want the starter social package only, or starter + full multi-platform social as an add-on
Website Build
- How many pages you need — 5 pages is meaningfully less work than 10
- Whether you have existing branding (logos, type, palette) or we design it from scratch
- Whether you need copy written from scratch or you provide draft copy for me to refine
- Any integrations — booking systems, customer portals, payment, third-party tools
These are the factors I weigh when I quote you a figure on the call. The bands exist because every client's situation genuinely is different — quoting a single number up front would either over-charge you or under-charge me.
Are these SEO packages worth it?
What you actually get for what you pay
If you're shopping for SEO packages and comparing what's on offer across the UK market, the honest answer is that most SEO packages from agencies priced £800–£2,000/month are doing the same work as the Core package on this page (£297–£347/month). The difference is who does it.
At an agency, your account goes to a junior SEO with a target of 30–50 clients they juggle. The dashboards are the same dashboards, the rank tracking is the same tools, the GBP posts follow the same pattern. The price tag covers the agency's sales team, the office, and the account-management layer that sits between you and the person doing the actual work.
What you're paying for with the SEO packages on this page is a different shape. The person who does the audit is the same person who writes the GBP posts, drafts the review responses, runs the technical fixes, and answers your email within a working day. The 25-retainer cap is enforced in the back-end, not as a marketing promise — it's what makes that single-person delivery model possible without the work collapsing.
That's also why the prices aren't flat. A Core retainer for a single-location plumber with a clean GBP and a working website is meaningfully less work than a Core retainer for a five-postcode-area building firm with a suspended profile and no existing citations. Same tier, different scope. The bands exist because honest pricing follows the actual shape of the work — not the other way around.
The Website Build package is different again. It's not a recurring relationship — it's a 4–8 week project that produces a working website, SEO-structured from day one so the Core or Growth retainer that comes after it has something to rank. The bundle discount exists because committing to a year of retainer work justifies investing the build time at a lower margin.
If you want a clear-eyed comparison before booking a call: SEO packages priced £300–£600/month from a sole-trader or small UK agency doing the work personally are the best value for trades and service businesses. Anything cheaper usually means an account-managed offshore team; anything more expensive usually means the agency is selling account management, not actual SEO. The packages on this page sit at the top end of that value band — by intention.
The full pricing for the three SEO packages, the bundle, and the related services (Care Plan, GBP Reinstatement, SEO Ranking Recovery) is on the main pricing page. For the wider picture — how the work actually runs, the dashboard clients see, and what a real first audit looks like — the what-you-get page has the long version. To book the 20-minute call, the contact page is one screen away.
Why the cap exists
I cap at 25 retainers. Not 50, not 100.
The cap is the whole pitch. If I'm running 75 client accounts, you're talking to someone whose job is to triage between you and me. If I'm running 25, you're talking to me, every time — the same person who does the audits, writes the GBP posts, drafts the review responses, and replies to your questions within a working day.
This is why the prices are what they are and why there's a 25-client hard cap enforced in the backend. Higher prices with a smaller client list beat lower prices with account managers. That's the trade I made when I started this.
Current client count and availability are on the contact page.
FAQ
The questions I get asked most when comparing SEO packages
The right SEO package depends on what you hand off. Core (from £297/month) is the recurring local SEO retainer and suits trades and service businesses that already have a working website and are happy replying to their own reviews. Growth (from £497/month) is the full retainer with reviews handled for you, citation building, and a starter social package — better for businesses that want me handling the whole pipeline. Both are run personally by me, no account-manager relay, no offshore team.
For local SEO focused on UK trades and service businesses, monthly SEO packages typically run £300–£600 with a sole-trader or small agency doing the work personally, and £800–£2,000+ with a mid-tier UK agency using account managers. The bands on this page (£297–£597/month) reflect what I charge personally. The figure depends on competitive area, service-area count, current state of GBP and reviews, and whether you want me drafting content from scratch.
Core (from £297/month) and Growth (from £497/month) are both monthly local SEO retainers. Core covers GBP posts 3–4/month, citation cleanup, review monitoring with response guidance (you reply with my drafts), and a monthly technical fix pass. Growth includes everything in Core plus 6–8 GBP posts/month, ongoing citation BUILDING (not just cleanup), full review response management where I draft AND send, advanced dashboard with ranking-drop alerts, and a starter social media package. The Website Build package is a separate one-off project from £1,500 that produces the site itself.
No. All fees are non-refundable. The work begins with immediate effect on receipt of payment — the audit starts, the on-page fixes get pushed, the GBP posts start drafting. There is no chargeback window. Recurring SEO packages are 30-day rolling notice — you don't pay for periods you haven't used, but periods already paid aren't refundable either.
Honest answer: 3–6 months of consistent work to see meaningful rank movement on the local pack, longer for competitive national searches. SEO is a compounding investment, not an instant one. The work that ships in month 1 (technical fixes, GBP posts, citations) is what creates the foundation; the rankings are a downstream effect.
Yes. Move between Core and Growth (or vice versa) any month with 7 days notice. The tier change takes effect on the next billing cycle — no re-onboarding, no penalties. The 12-month commitment that locks in the Website + SEO Bundle discount is the only long-running arrangement, and you can still cancel that with 30 days notice.
Yes. The Website Build package is a one-off project (from £1,500) that produces a 5–10 page website SEO-structured from day one. GBP Reinstatement / Repair is a one-off from £250–£400 for fixing suspended Google Business Profiles. SEO Ranking Recovery is a one-off quoted hourly/project-scoped for diagnosing and recovering from ranking drops.
Yes — that is exactly who I work with. Plumbers, electricians, builders, roofers, dentists, vets, and other local service businesses are the target audience for all three SEO packages on this page. The work focuses on Google Business Profile, local pack rankings, citation cleanup, review handling, and content that targets the queries your customers actually search.
Book a call.
Twenty minutes. I'll look at where you actually are right now and tell you honestly which tier fits — or if you don't need any of them yet. There's no pitch deck and no follow-up sequence if the answer is "not yet."
A note on pricing and outcomes, plainly.
What you're paying for. My fees cover the work I do — keyword research, on-page fixes, citations, GBP posts, review responses, backlink outreach, content briefs, technical SEO audits, and the live dashboard that surfaces all of it. I write every deliverable myself and review it personally before it goes out. That's the work; that's what you're paying for.
What's outside anyone's control. Search engine rankings, third-party platform decisions (Google's algorithm updates, Meta's reach changes), audience reception, and the time it takes for the work to compound. No honest agency of any size can guarantee a specific rank, traffic number, or revenue outcome — anyone selling you one is selling you snake oil. What I commit to is doing the work to the standard described in each tier, and showing you every step in the dashboard so you can see what's happening (or not).
The non-refundable bit, stated clearly. Because the work begins with immediate effect after request and payment — the audit starts, the credits get consumed, the on-page fixes get pushed, the GBP posts start drafting — once a fee is paid it isn't refundable. There's no cancellation refund on work already done. One-off services (Website Build deposits, GBP Reinstatement, SEO Ranking Recovery) follow the same rule. The recurring tiers are 30-day rolling notice — you don't pay for periods you haven't used, but periods already paid aren't refundable either.
Minimum timeframes for results. Honest answer: 3-6 months of consistent work to see meaningful rank movement on the local pack, longer for competitive national searches. PPC delivers clicks from day one but meaningful performance stabilises over 4-8 weeks. Website builds are 4-8 weeks from kickoff to launch. If you need a specific result by a specific date, ask before you sign — I'll tell you honestly whether it's achievable in your timeframe.
