Onboarding

What the first 30 days actually look like

No mystery, no surprises. Day-by-day, here’s exactly what happens after you sign. Every email, every deliverable, every call.

The plan is built around the 30-client cap. That cap is what lets me write every deliverable myself: audits, reports, social posts, review responses, backlink outreach. I personally review and edit before anything reaches you. Same discipline in every monthly report, every GBP post, every outreach draft.

Day-by-day

The first 30 days, exactly

  1. Day 0. Contract signed. You sign the contract (template provided). Welcome email sent personally from me with a calendar link for the kickoff call.
  2. Day 0+1. Kickoff call. 30 minutes. We cover goals, target keywords, brand assets, trade certifications and key suppliers/brands (these feed backlink acquisition, per the plan). You connect Google Search Console, Google Business Profile, Meta in your dashboard.
  3. Day 2. Baseline audit. I write it myself using 6 categories of issue detection. I review and edit before sending. You receive a full year of ranking history. What you ranked for, what you didn’t, and what changed.
  4. Day 3-5. Welcome walkthrough. Video call. I walk you through every dashboard panel. What each metric means, where to look when something changes, what I’m doing about it.
  5. Day 7. First action items. First round of changes logged in the action log. Visible to you. Typically 3-5 concrete things I’ve done or will do this week.
  6. Day 14. First progress check. Mid-month: rank movements, any GBP activity, any reviews that came in. I send a short note. Not a full report yet.
  7. Day 30. First full report. Written by me, with real numbers. I review and edit before sending. Includes a 30-day snapshot, the work done, and what I’ll focus on next month.
  8. Day 90. First quarterly review call. You book a slot via the dashboard (one per 90 days, enforced server-side). We walk through everything and agree on next quarter’s focus.

What you can expect from me

Six commitments I personally hold to

48-hour baseline audit SLA

From contract sign to baseline audit delivered: 48 hours.

24-hour response time

To any email or dashboard request. Real response, not an auto-acknowledgement.

Monthly report by day 30

Always. If something delays, you hear about it from me first.

Real numbers, no fake data

If data isn’t available yet (e.g. New GBP), the dashboard says so. Never invented.

You can leave with your data

14-day data export window on termination. CSV + JSON dump. No lock-in.

Personal QA on every deliverable

Every report, every post, every recommendation gets reviewed by me personally before you see it.

Onboarding questions

Honest answers before you start

What does the welcome email actually say?
It comes from me personally (not a generic address), confirms what we agreed, attaches the contract, and includes a calendar link for the kickoff call. It also tells you what to have ready (brand assets, your GBP access if you have it).
How long is the kickoff call?
30 minutes. I run a tight agenda. Goals, target keywords, brand assets, account connections, Q&A. If you want a deeper strategy session we can book a second call.
Do I need to be at my computer for the welcome walkthrough?
Yes. It’s a live screen-share of your actual dashboard with your data. Recorded on my side so you can re-watch.
What if I don’t have access to GSC, GA, GBP or Meta yet?
We cover the connection flow on the kickoff call. Most clients connect GBP and Meta in 15 minutes, GSC and GA in another 15 minutes. The audit waits until at least GBP is connected.
What if a deliverable is late?
You hear about it from me first, not by missing the day. Real-world reasons cause occasional delays (Google API outage, GBP outage, etc). You’ll get a same-day heads-up.

Want the audit first?

The free audit is what usually triggers onboarding. I score your business on the 20-point checklist that drives the work and we agree next steps from there.

A quick honest note.

Fees cover the work we do, not outcomes we don't control. Once a fee is paid, it's not refundable. The work begins immediately. Search engine rankings, third-party platform decisions, audience reception: those are outside anyone's control. What we control is doing the work, reviewing it personally, and showing you every step in the dashboard. Full terms.
